Karren Brady CBE, heads the judging panel of these annual, free to enter Awards, alongside other leading business owners and leaders.
Co-judge and managing director of Nectar Business, Will Shuckburgh, comments: “Having run the awards for six years, we know the determination and hard work it takes to manage a small business. In order to champion as many small businesses as possible and give them the recognition they deserve, we’ve decided to move back the entry deadline until the 25 May. I encourage all UK based SMEs to get involved and enter as many categories as applicable for a chance to be rewarded as leaders in their field.”
The successful entrants will receive £2,000 cash and 50,000 Nectar points, as well as competing for the unique opportunity to meet and receive tailored expert advice from Karren Brady at the Nectar Business Round Table event – to be held later in the year.
Open for entries until 25 May 2014, the categories are:
- Small Business of the Year
- Innovation of the Year
- Home Grown Business of the Year
- Entrepreneur of the Year
- Tradesperson of the Year
- Contribution to the Community
