Small Business network for business leaders

The Guardian Small Business Network, in association with Lloyds TSB, is a new dedicated community through which business leaders can access fresh thinking and expertise on the challenges and opportunities they face in today’s business climate.

The site will give members access to live Q&As with experts, dedicated content hubs on key business issues, regional seminars and the chance to showcase their innovative working on the Guardian website by entering the Best Practice Exchange.

The Guardian Small Business Network is the latest addition to Guardian Professional’s growing portfolio of networks for professional sectors. Membership to all of the network is free and will give SMEs a first-look at upcoming events inspiring content and valuable resources.

Launching the network today, Andrew Miller, chief executive officer, Guardian Media Group, said: “This is a crucial time for SMEs, and the Guardian Small Business Network aims to provide enterprises with the resources and insight they need to help drive their businesses forward.

“Our professional networks have now attracted nearly 200,000 members and are a fantastic way for the Guardian to engage with our online users as part of our digital-first and open strategies.”

Stephen Pegge, director of SME markets, Lloyds Banking Group, said: “We want to ensure that, as well as supporting SMEs with their banking needs, we are providing the guidance they need in order to prosper and grow. That is why we are pleased to be supporting the Small Business Network, which will be a valuable source of information for businesses across the UK.”
