T-Mobile launches new short mobile contracts to help small business

T-Mobile research found that small business owners want shorter phone plans, where they aren’t locked into lengthy contractual commitments and have responded by offering a choice of 6 month, 18 month, 24 month and 30 day SIM only plans. T-Mobile claims that it’s offering is the flexible options on the market.

Martin Lyne, Director of SME Marketing at T-Mobile, comments, “Our customers told us it didn’t make sense for their business to be locked into long term contracts when times are changing. Having the flexibility to adapt things quickly if needed is key to a small business’ ability to survive and thrive, so we believe these shorter term plans, will be a great fit for small businesses.”

The new offerings come with a range of extras designed to help small businesses run more smoothly, including free next day phone replacement (for phones in warranty), free business voicemail in the UK, dedicated UK call centre support and online billing. It’s also possible to select a variety of phones to suit each level of staff – whether it’s a smartphone or a phone for purely voice and text.

To tie in with these offerings, T-Mobile is also running an online competition for small businesses with £2,000 up for grabs for the winning entry. For more information or to enter visit www.t-mobile.co.uk/smallbusinesschange. Deadline for entries is 1st April.
