Dave Antrobus is an award-winning technology specialist who has developed major software projects for brands such as Matalan, SimplyBe, and Google.
Since completing his Computer Science degree in 2008, Dave has developed numerous e-commerce websites for key UK clients, including Harvey Nichols, Coast, Karen Millen, Oasis, and the Rangers FC Store.
He has also provided digital strategy consulting for large businesses, such as EDF Energy. Both a software developer and project manager, Dave’s technological systems and consultancy-led approach have enabled teams throughout the UK to improve collaborative strategies and maximise business growth.
In 2018, Dave co-founded the independent capital investment organisation Fresh Thinking Group, which supports three types of businesses: companies looking to grow, distressed firms, and start-ups. Dave and his partners help companies to form group collectives to benefit from high-level business operations. Their professional support spans from bespoke technological systems to research and development, capital injections, and business guidance. Fresh Thinking Group revolutionises struggling firms and new businesses using progressive methodologies to expand audiences, leads, and consumer bases.
Fresh Thinking Group operates across Europe, working in a range of markets, such as digital media, e-commerce, and technology, amongst others. Recent acquisitions that Dave has supported include the on-demand laundry service Laundrapp, the mobile-development app company Cuhu, and the award-winning digital marketing agency Neon. Fresh Thinking Group has also worked with all big names in the logistics market, including UPS, DPD, DHL, Royal Mail, Parcelforce, USPS, FedEx, and GLB Transport. On top of this, Fresh Thinking funds several groups, including Orb Group, Inc & Co Group, and Inc & Co Property Group, each of which acquires and holds numerous subsidiaries.
As Fresh Thinking Group’s Technology Director, Dave coordinates the technological solutions that rejuvenate the capital investment agency’s acquisitions. His wide-spanning experience extends from web and mobile app design and development to graphic design, SEO, social media management, marketing, and PR – making his business-development guidance an invaluable tool for countless businesses.
