What do you currently do?
I am Managing Director at high tech company – and world leader in process tomography -Industrial Tomography Systems. I started off as a founder director at ITS and became MD soon after formation.
What is your inspiration in business?
People inspire me. Starting from childhood, right through to business school and the present day, different people have inspired me along the way to do new and better things. My father is also a very inspirational man.
Who do you admire?
I admire people with integrity, perception and positivity.
Looking back, are there things you would have done differently?
With hindsight, I would have capitalised the business earlier, meaning we could have moved forward faster. I am happy with where we are today – everything happens for a reason.
What defines your way of doing business?
I’d say strategic intent sums it up best.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out?
Choose the people you work with very carefully. The ideal person to work with is somebody who has a different perspective and complementary skills to your own, ensuring that every base in the business is covered.
