Feast It raises £1.7m funding round by Coldplay member and Dragons’ Den Sarah Willingham

Feast It, the UK’s leading event catering marketplace has raised £1.7 million in an oversubscribed funding round led by Jon Claydon, ex-Head of advertising agency Claydon Heeley Jones Mason, bringing its total funding to date to £2.7m.

Other investors contributing to the round include; shareholder and previous Chairman in The Hut Group, Richard Pennycook, Coldplay member Guy Berryman, serial entrepreneur and star of Dragon’s Den Sarah Willingham, and luxury entrepreneur John Ayton MBE.

Launched in 2017 by childhood friends Hugo Campbell and Digby Vollrath (pictured), Feast It has closely curated a diverse range of over 650 of the UK’s top caterers and mobile bars to book for all kinds of events, spanning from corporate occasions to weddings. All Feast It suppliers have been hand-selected, to offer a versatile community of suppliers available to book for any event, providing banquet-style dining, table service and street food.

Feast It grew by more than 1000% in 2018, reaching over £2.5m worth of enquiries per month last year, and is currently targeting a 360% growth in 2019.
