Meet the finalists of Mumpreneur Idol 2011

Organiser of the awards Laura Rigney said: “There were so many fabulous business ideas and start ups, that it was really quite a task whittling them down to just four” But they have, and it is these four who will face the judges including Enterprise Nation founder Emma Jones, founder of Smarta Shaa Wasmund, and group managing director of Capital Business Media, publishers of Business Matters,  Richard Alvin in April.
The Mumpreneur Idol 2011 finalists:
Kez Luckett: Mummy’s Maid
Buckinghamshire based company, Mummy’s Maid, aims to provide busy mums with the short term household services they need. Founded by mum of two, Kez Luckett, we chose this business idea as we felt the business model had longevity, and could easily become a national household name.
Stephanie Collier: The Little Letter Company
A newly launched business, The Little Letter Company is a subscription based service, posting weekly craft kits to children age 3-5 years. We looked at Stephanie’s business idea from the eyes of our own children within that age category, and can clearly see that this idea will be loved by both the parents and the little ones!
Genny Jones: Gift of Confidence
Meet Genny, the Confident Queen. It was her vibrant personality that won us over, and of course the great business model. The aim of the Gift of Confidence is to empower children and adults with the tools they need to so that they can become confident in themselves and live happier lives.
Tracey Hollins: Coverdry
Having launched the coverdry at the end of last year, mum of three, Tracey, found her product being snapped up by the likes of Amazon. This product, the UK’s first 3 in 1 wrap around bed protector, has huge potential to make it into thousands of homes which is why we selected Tracey as one of our finalists
These finalists will be battling it out to win the title of Mumpreneur Idol 2011, and a fabulous prize package, at the event on 9th April.
You can be there too! As Business Matters is giving away TWO tickets to the first people who email pjones@cbmeg.co.uk and tell us why you deserve to win them.
