The plan is that products in stock in local shops registered with pockethighstreet.com will be available for 1 hour delivery or click & collect in minutes and discoverable across a wide range of digital publishers.
Front line digital publishers include local news giant Archant and some of London’s most popular websites, mobile apps and social media influencers, together representing millions of local consumers. Quiqup’s fleet of 500 couriers powers last mile deliveries across the network.
400+ London shops and 20+ digital publishers joined the beta test in 2015.
From today, any local shop or digital publisher can register for free and join the movement at pockethighstreet.com.
This campaign to revive the high street is focused on London this Summer with a roll out across the UK planned before Christmas 2016.
